Khai Nui Island, Khai Nai Island and Khai Nok Island are what make-up the Khai Islands in Phang Nga province. Khai Nui Island offers tourists stunning snorkelling sites, packed full of gorgeous corals and many different species of exotic fish.
Tourists can enjoy the view of Khai Nui from the sea, but are not permitted to step onto it, as officials work hard to preserve the natural rock formations that make up the island. However, Khai Nok Island, often called the ‘fried egg of the sea’ because of its shape, is the perfect place to rest on a sunbed after a swim in the ocean. Khai Nai Island also provides luxurious swimming and places to relax. But its main attractions are the colourful fish found just below the surface of the water. You will feel like you have been transported to a new, undiscovered world.
The Khai Islands can be reached by a 30-minute boat ride from one of Phuket’s piers. Interested tourists can book tickets with an island tour agency.
