Every Friday afternoon from 12.30 pm – 3 pm, The Boathouse Phuket presents you with a 3-course wine lunch, including delicious starters, mains, and desserts creatively prepared by Executive Chef Jonathan. The menu changes every week to play along with the creativity of the chef but is flexible for personal requirements.
We had a chance to join the debut of the wine lunch and were introduced to the exciting menu. The starters featured a choice between Crab and Salmon Ravioli with Shellfish Bisque or Poached Organic Egg and Char-Grilled Asparagus flavoured with Lemon Dressing which we paired with Italian Pinot Grigio, followed by the main which was a choice between Grilled Seabass Mousseline Potatoes, Char Lemon and Tomato Salsa or the Pappardelle with Lamb Shank Ragout and Aged Parmesan, which went very well with our Spanish Red Tempranillo Cabernet. The unforgettable dessert was impressive. We got served the Eton Mess, the exquisite mess of berry and meringue mixed with ice-cream and petals, which came alongside a selection of freshly brewed coffee and teas.
