Travelling aboard is way easier these days for those who think budget is a big deal, and HK Express opens a good opportunity to experience Hong Kong and many other famous destinations without damaging your wallet.
From April 21-24, 2015 The Guide Phuket and other Phuket media were invited by HK Express to explore Hong Kong.
The trip started at Phuket International Airport from where you can fly directly to Hong Kong in just 3 hours. The check in process was quick and the staff helpful.
Awarded best on-time performing Hong Kong-based airline guarantees your trip will never be delayed. Also, budget doesn’t mean safety drops; HK Express received a 7-star safety rating, the highest ranking possible from airlinerating.com.
If you have long legs, “Sweet Seats” can be purchased in advance, at the counter or even on board. In addition, “Express Café” offers lower priced authentic local meals. Just 3 hours later we touched down smoothly at Hong Kong International Airport. Let the journey begin!
First stop was the Sky 100 Hong Kong Observation Deck, the tallest building in Hong Kong. At 393 meters above sea level, it’s the only indoor observation deck in Hong Kong offering 360 degree views of the territory and its famous Victoria Harbor. For more information you can visit www. sky100.com.hk
Our 2nd day begun with dim sum, of course dim sum is a must as some say you’ve never been to Hong Kong if you missed dim sum for breakfast!
After, we headed to Ocean Park and spent the whole day enjoying this amazing park. Ocean Park features fun activities such as a natural learning center, aquarium & animal show, water park, dining & shopping. For more information please visit www.oceanpark.com.hk
On day 3 we headed to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel with its bird’s eye view of Hong Kong.
We didn’t want to waste our valued time, so we made our way to “The Peak Hong Kong” where you have to take the peak tram ride all the way up to one of the world’s oldest and most famous funicular railways.
Once at the top, the “Peak Tower” is our target. “The Peak Tower” is the most iconic landmark in Hong Kong and it’s been featured on millions of postcards.
Inside the tower is an array of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues set against the beautiful backdrop of the city. The tower also has the highest 360 viewing terrace which offers an awesome panoramic view of the vibrant city. For more information please visit www.thepeak.com.hk
As is traditional, a last day of shopping is a must; we dropped by to enjoy a little shopping at the City Gate Outlet before heading to Hong Kong International Airport. Our flight was on time and flew us home safely to Phuket.
