Throughout the decade, the group has laid out foundations to accommodate the expansion in every aspect to achieve sustainable and strong growth. MGC-ASIA Autoplex Phuket is the key expansion to drive us towards 2020 vision where we expect to make overall income of 50,000 million Baht.”
Dr. Sanhavut continues that, “Not only high tourism potential, Phuket is strategically located and connects other destinations along the Andaman Coast. As the regional and international tourism hub, Phuket welcomes more than 12.5 million visitors every year and earn the tourism industry more than 2.5 billion Baht. It was not a difficult decision for us to expand to Phuket with MGC-ASIA Autoplex Phuket.”
MGC-ASIA is all geared up to launch the new mega-project, “MGC-ASIA Autoplex Phuket”, spanning on 4 rais of land with 14,000 square meter utility space that will include showrooms for Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Azimut Yacht, BMW and Mini. The 400-million Baht complex will also offer one-stop car paint and body work service within the first quarter of this year.
Additional 350 million Baht investment will go to the next expansion project, MGC-ASIA Autoplex Had Yai, that will include showroom for BWM and Mini, Honda, MMS-Bosch Car Service, rental car fleet, used cars as well as one-stop auto paint and body facility. The complex, which will become one of the first two auto cities on the Andaman Coast and Gulf of Thailand, is expected to complete within the second quarter of this year.
This expansion would greatly benefit and strengthen the group’s venture as authorized dealer of BMW and Mini cars under Millennium Auto Group, which now has 8 showrooms (5 Bangkok, 3 up-country) and 1 studio. The group has also increased its capacity and efficiency in after sale service along with continuing development and improvement. Appointments for BWM and Mini users can now be booked conveniently via smartphone application to maximize satisfaction and cater to the modern lifestyle. These features should positively affect the sales of the company and the group.
The southern part of Thailand, especially along the Andaman Coast, also sees the exponential growth of the ultra-luxury Rolls-Royce motor cars after 4 years as Thailand’s sole authorized dealer, Millionaire Auto Sales and Service (Thailand), under Master Group Corporation Asia. Other high-end, luxury sports brands that now have showrooms in the south include Aston Martin and Azimut, under MGC Marine Asia, which all become part of the steady and sustainable growth in the southern region.
The aforementioned factors will greatly benefit the growth of MGC-ASIA throughout 2017, aspiring 10-15% increase from 2016. The firm expects to distribute 10,000 new cars and service more than 225,000 cars in the after sale facilities.
