Aleenta Phuket - Teaser

Located on the sunset side of the Andaman Sea and the pristine Natai Beach, Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa in Phang Nga is just 25 minutes north of Phuket International Airport, a short distance away from the Blue Canyon Golf Course and the picturesque Phang Nga Bay.

Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa is a luxurious boutique resort located a short trip north of the island, in the surrounding province of Phang Nga. The 25-minute trip from Phuket International Airport took us to the stunning Natai beach, where the resort is overlooking the Andaman Sea.

Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the Front Office staff, who took care of our luggage and explained to us the various facilities of the resort, before escorting us to our room.

Aleenta Phuket - 001Our breath was taken away once we entered our Grand Deluxe Pool Villa, a superb 140+ sqm. accommodation with a private pool, outdoor jacuzzi, and a large terrace to soak up the sun while sipping on a cocktail or two.

The resort is well-known for its holistic treatments and wellness retreats, so we decided a visit to the spa, named Ayurah Spa, was in order. Their philosophy of “Eat Well, Live Well, Be Well, Look Good” is well-represented in every step of the process, as they complement their massages with healthy food recommendations at the restaurants and the access to an oxygen bar. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the wellness center, considering we were staying in a boutique hotel, and the professionalism of the therapists, who seemed to really understand the concept of relaxation.

We have been explained by the staff that the resort often organizes wellness retreats, which combine healthy vegetarian meals with the practice of yoga, meditation, and massage therapies to fully regenerate your body and soul.

Aleenta Phuket - 002We decided to spend the rest of the day relaxing on the serene Natai Beach, before heading to The Natai Restaurant, where we indulged in classic cocktails and locally caught, fresh seafood.

On the next day, we joined The Edge restaurant for a well-deserved breakfast; in addition to a large selection of bread and pastries, they also offer an exhaustive salad bar, cheese platter, live cooking station, and even a la carte options.

We checked out with a newly-found sense of rejuvenation, and the feeling we will be visiting the Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa in the near future.
